AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS CHAPTER 6
WHO WE ARE
We are Legion Family members serving veterans and our Stuttgart Military Community. We just happen to do it on motorcycle. The American Legion Riders (ALR) are all-inclusive and welcoming. If you’re in the military family and you want to ride, you’re welcome. Any American Legion Family member – Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of The American Legion – who meet the Riders’ eligibility requirements are eligible to join.
WHAT WE DO
We ride. We also happen to be well known for charitable work, which nationally has raised Millions of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded servicemembers and scholarships.
Since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in The American Legion Legacy Run to annually raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed or severely disabled by service since Sept. 11, 2001. The ALR has raised over 11 Million Dollars towards the Legacy Scholarship to date.
